iSpinePainManagement

iSpinePainManagement is a 3D animation library of cervical and lumbar spine pain management technique movies and notes that can be used to increase the quality of your patient education, while decreasing the time involved in delivering it. iSpinePainManagement can be shown to your client in the chair or on the bed during the consultation, in the waiting room, in the ER, and in the ward, via your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.

FEATURES

Using verbal descriptions or still images alone for patient education is inefficient and often ineffective in conveying complex surgical techniques. These weaknesses are amplified when addressing an un-educated audience in a time-poor, resource-limited, demanding medico-legal environment.

iSpinePainManagement provides rapid, mobile, reproducible spine pain management technique informed consent and patient education.

Simply tap on the simple menu structure to quickly navigate through the library containing over 34 pain management technique movies. Tap on the movie’s name to play the one to three minute movie. Tap on the movie to see the scroll and volume controls.

REVIEWS

The following are reviews posted in the App Store from users around the world.

Accurate handheld patient education tool
'I've used the 2 other major products this company produces on conservative care/anatomy/pathology and surgery and was excited to see the pain management module. Again the authors are to be congratulated on the accuracy of their videos which help both laypeople and professionals. The package has 35 animations on various pain management procedures and works with the iPhone and iPad. I leave an iPad for patients in the exam room so they can browse as well. Navigation is easy and there is a textual information page. This app will help surgeons, therapists and just about anyone that has anything to do with spine. There is no other app that does what this one does. I find it useful on rounds or clinic to show patients what is planned for them. I think this would help in an informed consent. I like it. A lot. I think it's worth looking at the complete package of apps. Whilst of use to professionals, it is easy enough for patients to use as well.'    Renodoc
