iSpineOperations is a 3D animation library of cervical and lumbar spine surgical technique movies and notes that can be used to increase the quality of your patient education, while decreasing the time involved in delivering it.
iSpineOperations can be shown to your client in the chair or on the bed during the consultation, in the waiting room, in the ER, and in the ward, via your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.
FEATURES
Using verbal descriptions or still images alone for patient education is inefficient and often ineffective in conveying complex anatomy, pathology and surgical techniques. These weaknesses are amplified when addressing an un-educated audience in a time-poor, resource-limited, demanding medico-legal environment.
iSpineOperations provides rapid, mobile, reproducible spine surgical technique informed consent and patient education.
Simply tap on the simple menu structure to quickly navigate through the library containing over 44 surgical technique movies. Tap on the movie’s name to play the one to six minute movie. Tap on the movie to see the scroll and volume controls.

REVIEWS
The following are reviews posted in the App Store from users around the world.
Excellent App
'If you are a spinal surgeon this is a great app for you! I am a Neurosurgeon and Spine surgeon and have been using this app to help educate my patients. My patients love using the ipad to learn about their condition and what is involved in surgery. It does not replace good communication but is another adjunct to help patients understand what their surgery involves. The animations are good and easy to understand.' Matt McDonald
Excellent App
'Understanding and explaining surgery is a complex process. It's said a picture is worth a thousand words. What's a video worth? This easy to navigate interface allows access to a large number of animations simplifying the understanding of complex spinal procedures. I like that the videos are anatomically accurate. I use this app to show patients potential surgery. Holding down the right arrow for a procedure opens up succinct yet comprehensive documentation on each procedure. The notes section expands it further. The number of procedures is huge. The app appeals to patients with spinal disorders, and to residents, and physicians who deal with spinal patients. This app makes bedside consents far simpler.' Renodoc USA
Dr
'As a spinal surgeon, I find this to be an invaluable tool for explaining surgery to my patients. It greatly speeds up the consent process, and patients really appreciate a simple visual medium to aid in their understanding of the proposed procedure. Well worth the money!' PaulSpine Aus
