mLumbarAnatomy

mLumbarAnatomy is a series of 3D animation movies with English voice-over that introduce the complicated anatomy of the lumbar spine using easy to understand 3D anatomically accurate animated movies.

mLumbarAnatomy is designed to be used by anyone seeking a better understanding of their lumbar spine anatomy. It can also be used by practitioners to assist with their patient education in the chair or on the bed during the consultation, in the waiting room, in the ER, and in the ward.

mLumbarAnatomy is part of the Lumbar Spine Library of patient education 3D animations.

FEATURES

Receiving verbal descriptions or still image education about complicated three-dimensional anatomy is inefficient and often ineffective. This is especially so for newcomers to human anatomy.

Patient education in the 21st century needs to use three-dimensional animations and the mobile digital technologies to provide optimum patient, clinician, clinic and insurer benefits.

mLumbarAnatomy provides an accurate, easy to understand introduction to lumbar spine anatomy. Tap on the movie's name to play the movie. Tap on the movie screen to reveal the movie scroll and audio volume control bars. Examine some sample movies here

BENEFITS

mLumbarAnatomy has the following potential benefits:

  • improved understanding, compliance and satisfaction
  • better treatment outcomes

Clinician

  • less time spent giving better quality education
  • increased physical examination and treatment time
  • better managing client’s comprehension and expectations
